Laura Mance Promoted to
President Of Coldwell Banker Success Southwest
May 10, 2005
TUCSON - Laura Kelly Mance, CRB, has been promoted to president
of Coldwell Banker Success Southwest, of which she has been
serving as vice president and general manager since 1998.
She will continue as designated broker.
Mance succeeds Paul Lindsey, principal, who will turn his
efforts toward building Coldwell Banker Success Southwest's
commercial real estate areas - brokerage and leasing capabilities,
while also remaining involved in its planning and representing
the company in the industry and the community.
"I am so pleased to announce this promotion," said Lindsey.
"I can think of no one more qualified to take over the reins.
This allows me to step away from the day-to-day operations
and focus on more strategic issues and commercial real estate,
which are areas I love."
The 2003 president of the Tucson Association of REALTORSŪ
(TAR), Mance joined Coldwell Banker Success Southwest in 1990
as sales manager of the Foothills office. She was promoted
to vice president and branch manager for the Williams Centre
office in 1991 and was named as general manager and Foothills
branch manager in 1998. She became designated broker in 2003.
Mance has served two terms as a director of TAR in addition
to three years as an officer. At the state level, she chaired
the Arizona Association of REALTORSŪ (AAR) Purchase Contract
Revision Steering group and has served multiple terms as an
AAR director, beginning in 1997. Additionally, she is a contract
law instructor for AAR and the Hogan School of Real Estate.
She earned her Arizona real estate license in 1982, her Arizona
brokers license in 1987 and her designation as Certified Residential
Brokerage Manager in 1998. Her real estate career includes
working in residential resale, new home sales management,
commercial sales management, property management and corporate
relocation. Mance earned her bachelors degree from the University
of Hartford in Connecticut and has pursued graduate studies
at the University of Arizona.
Lindsey, who served as TAR president in 1995 and the Multiple
Listing Service president in 2002 and 2003, has been a licensed
real estate broker for 20 years in Southern Arizona, specializing
in commercial investment. He also served 10 years as a member
of the Real Estate Advisory Board, appointed by the governor
twice, and serving as its chair in 1997, 1998 and 1999. He
has also held many leadership positions with the TAR, AAR
and the National Association of REALTORSŪ.
Lindsey holds the prestigious CCIM designation and served
as the local president in 1988, and also holds the Counselor
of Real Estate designation, one of only a handful in Arizona.
He has also been involved in the community as current president
of the Pima Community College Foundation Board, vice chairman
of the Community Food Bank, and past president of Greater
Tucson Leadership.
